CCN1 Core Gas Safety

A qualification that will allow corgi registered people to install test and purge copper pipework up to 35mm and steel pipework up to 32mm in domestic premises and provide a route to further assessments for domestic gas appliances.

CONGLP1
Changeover to LPG from Natural Gas

A Qualification that after successful assessments on domestic natural gas pipework and appliances will enable the corgi registerd engineer to complete the same work on LPG (propane & butane. A separate assessment will have to be completed for to work at LPG on caravans and boats.

Oil Courses Training & Assessment (O.F.T.E.C.)

OFT101
A qualification that will allow oftec registered people to service & commission pressure jet oil fired appliances up to 45kw (not mandatory) but is a requirement by some bodies for tendering for contracts.

OFT 105E - Installations

A qualification that will allow oftec registered people to install and commission oil fired central heating installations (not mandatory as above).

OFT 600A

A qualification that will allow oftec registered people to install test commission & decommission oil storage tanks (not mandatory as above).

Unvented Hot Water

A qualification which will allow a person who has been assessed to G3 building standards to install commission and service unvented hot water vessels with a capacity over 15Lts (legal requirement).

Health & Safety

CSR cards - A legal requirement for persons to work on construction sites and contracts
Black and Gold cards - for managers and supervisors to work on construction sites and contracts.

Basic Heating & Hot Water Design & Specification

A qualification to enable building service engineers to advance there knowledge of heating and plumbing systems (non mandatory).
