CCTS runs offers the City & Guilds 2365-02 - This qualifications allows candidates to learn (via on-line smart screen), develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electrotechnology sector. It will allow candidates to progress into employment, although not as a fully qualified Electrician. It allows progression to other Level 3 Diplomas & or awards.

    Who is the qualification for?

     For candidates who want to work as electricians in the building services engineering sector. This qualification does not make candidates fully qualified electricians . 

    What does the qualification cover?

    It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electrotechnology sector. 

    What opportunities for progression are there?

    It allows candidates to progress into employment, although not as a fully qualified electrician, or to the following City & Guilds qualifications:

    • Level3DiplomainElectricalInstallation (Buildings and Structures)
    • Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnology
    • Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
    • Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations. 

    Candidate entry requirements

    City & Guilds does not set entry requirements for this qualification. However, centres must ensure that candidates have the potential and opportunity to gain the qualification successfully.

     CCTS Age restrictions This qualification is approved for learners 18+. 

    Booking includes registration and access to City & Guilds Smart screen at home, online training. Also included is further attendance to our centre to complete  4no controlled online exams and 8 hr controlled Practical Assessment (to be arranged by you after you complete your on-line training). The course must be paid up front in full before we can release the course content. We only accept Major Debit/Credit cards, for our on-line courses. Please note you have 1 calendar year to complete the on-line training and exam subject to availability by City & Guilds.

    Please Note: Please ensure you meet the pre-requisites for the course (If in doubt please contact us).You must complete your exam within 1 Calendar year from registration. We recommend that you contact us to arrange the exam after you complete your on-line training (whilst things are fresh in your head).To book the Exam at our centre please contact 02890 739418 (option 1) or email info@cctrainingservices.com. Please ensure that you “make reference” to the fact that you have completed and trained on-line. Please also refer to our Late or Absent candidates’ policy which states that you must turn up at least 30 minutes before the Exam. 

    Online exams consist of :

    • Health and safety in building services engineering
    • Principles of Electrical Science
    • Electrical Installations Technology
    • Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering

    Practical exam consists of:

    • Installation of wiring systems and enclosures
