Congratulations to Neil Cooke from Cooke Bros. Electrical Ltd who successfully completed his Level 3 Award in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial locations. It is predicted that Electric cars will have to become the norm within the next decade & Northern Ireland has been advised to cut its carbon emissions by at least 82% by 2050 to help the UK achieve its net zero ambition. This could see the number of “green collar jobs” in the UK alone grow to 2 million and the value of exports from the low carbon economy grow to £170 billion a year by 2030.
