CCTS is majority owned and run by its Employees and provides quality training courses and assessments within the building services & general Construction sector for operatives within the construction, gas, oil, electric, plumbing, refrigeration, renewable energy industries and online training for Health & Safety, Business Skills & Social Care.
CCTS is focused on delivering building services industry training in a wide range of specialisms, suitable for new entrants or experienced operatives looking to embark on a new career. A comprehensive range of courses are delivered in our circa. 10,000 square foot training centre based close to the George Best Belfast City Airport and SSE Arena in Belfast.

History
Our Journey Since 2008
Complete Construction Training Services Ltd, trading as CCTS, was formed in January 2008. Founded by Gerry McManus and Phil Harper, the company was established to provide domestic gas and oil training and assessment for the Northern Ireland market at the time. Richard Morton soon joined the team, and the company expanded its course offering to include Commercial Oil and Gas courses.
In January 2011, David Keery and David Baalham joined the team, and we began offering Electrical City & Guilds courses while also expanding the training centre. By 2013, the centre had moved into renewables, water, and Health & Safety training, and our team had grown to 16 trainers, assessors, internal verifiers, and administrators. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and professional service to our valued customers.
In 2015, RQF regulated courses were introduced, including Level 4 Gas Management and diploma qualifications. In 2016, we introduced FGAS Refrigeration training and partnered with MPL Locksmiths to offer Level 3 Locksmith training. With over 55 different courses, CCTS are specialists in the delivery of industry-focused training and learning.
In 2020, we introduced new online Certified Health & Safety, Business Skills, and Health & Social Care training courses. In 2021, we added Electrical Vehicle charging courses covering Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial premises regulated qualifications.
In March 2024, the shareholders of the company determined to transform the company into a company with employee ownership and with a distinctive ethos for the operation of the business. Inherent in this form of ownership structure is the idea that, by ensuring a majority of the shares in the company are held for the benefit of employees, employees will be motivated to enhance the success of the business for their own benefit as well as that of all other stakeholders.

“I attended CCTS last year on the recommendation by a buddy sparky David to do their Solar PV course. I found everyone to be warm and welcoming. The course was excellent and Davy the instructor to be sound out. The sun was shining so I had some lovely walks around the Titanic centre and visited an old war ship down by the docks.
