The aim of this assessment is to maintain the 5 year cycle of gas certification with RGII (Registration of Gas Installers Ireland). Gas registered operatives are required to update their qualifications by part-taking in the gas re-assessment.
The assessment is designed to assess the knowledge and competences of registered gas installers Ireland and to enable the industry to maintain high standards of practice and above all safety. Candidates will require to purchase the latest IS813 standards

No candidate can take the DGA assessment , unless he has in his possession a current valid RGI identity card
Each Candidate will need to purchase a copy of IS813 from RGI. We have copies for use during course but you will need a copy for your inspection.

Membership of RGII is a legal requirement for any installer wishing to carry out gas work in Ireland
